Tonlé Sap Lake – A Floating House
Located 30 miles south of Siem Reap in Cambodia, Tonlé Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. It is home to many floating villages inhabited by the Vietnamese and Cham.
The image shows a floating house surrounded by boats. In addition to floating houses, the villages have floating schools, shops, and churches. The people in these villages earn their living by fishing and crocodile farming.
