Bouleuterion – Meeting place of the council (boule) members
In a typical Greek city-state, the Bouleterion was a building where the members of the Senate got together to discuss the matters of the state. Built in the shape of a theater, the Bouleterion in Ephesus was also used as a concert hall in which music performances and contests were held.
