Mykonos water front and Little Venice
The island of Mykonos belongs to the Cyclades group of the islands in the Aegean Sea. According to a legend, the island was formed by the bodies of giants petrified after Hercules killed them. The island was named after the grandson of Apollo.
The image shows the Mykonos waterfront and the Little Venice neighborhood with houses having their balconies hanging over the water. Some of the houses constructed were constructed as far back as mid 1800s.
