Scenery at Kabini Backwaters
The image shows a view captured during the two-hour early morning boat ride on Kabini backwaters. As you can see, there are people still living on the shores, earning their livelihood by growing rice and other agricultural produce.
The Kabini backwaters is truly nature’s gift to mankind. It is home to numerous bird species, some of which are resident and the others migratory. Many resident birds use the dead tree stumps in the river to nest. Many migratory birds stop over to look for prey. There is enough food for everybody.
