Colonial Mural Painting
The image shows a fragment of the mural painting belonging to the colonial period found in the Qorikancha Temple complex located inside the Convent of Santo Domingo in Cusco, Peru.

During the Spanish colonial period, the internal sides of the Inca structures were covered with plaster and decorated with mural painting. The mural painting shown in the image was most likely drawn in the 17th century and part of the decoration of the Chapter House of the Santo Domingo Priory. It was restored in May 2005.
