Salón de Embajadores – A lateral wall with horseshoe arches
The Salón de Embajadores (Ambassadors’ Hall) is the most exquisitely decorated hall in the Pedro I Palace. The image shows part of the lateral wall with three stilted horseshoe arches, surrounded by colorful artwork on plaster.
The Salón de Embajadores was King Don Pedro’s throne room, and this is where he received emissaries and prominent people of his time.
