Patio del León (Courtyard of the Lion)

Patio del León – Courtyard of the Lion
Located between the Peurta del León (Lion’s Gate) and the ancient Moorish wall, the Patio del León is a small courtyard with a path in the middle flanked by several rectangle-shaped hedges of neatly-trimmed myrtle bushes, which enclose tall trees, including cypress, and a variety of plants.

The view shown in the image is from the Moorish wall. At the far end is the rear side of the Peurta del León. As you can see, visitors are entering through that door and walking towards the Moorish wall, which has three arched doors and lies between the Peurta del León and Patio de la Montería.
