Floating Shops
The image shows floating shops on Tonlé Sap, a freshwater lake located 30 miles south of Siem Reap in Cambodia. It is home to many floating villages inhabited mainly by the ethnic Vietnamese and Cham communities.

The floating villages function like regular villages with floating schools, shops (see the image) and places of worship. The people in these villages earn their living by fishing and crocodile farming.
