Hadrian Temple Frieze
The Hadrian Temple was built to honor Emperor Hadrian (117 – 138 CE), who visited Ephesus in 128 CE. The frieze shown in the image is a replica and the original is on display at the Ephesus Museum. It depicts the story of the foundation of Ephesus.
