Church of Holy Apostles Solaki
Located on the west side of the Ancient Agora in Athens, Greece, the Church of Holy Apostles Solaki is a Byzantine-era church built in the 11 century CE. Solaki in its name may refer to the family that sponsored its renovation.
The church was built on the foundations of 2nd-century Nymphaeum and was constructed by re-using many blocks and pillars from the Roman buildings.
