Remnants from the Treasury of the Megarians
The image shows the remnants of the pediment belonging to the Treasury of the Megarians found inside the Sanctuary of Olympia in Greece. The restored pediment is on display at the Olympia Archaeological Museum.

Situated on the north side of the Sanctuary of Olympia along with the other treasuries, the Megarian’s Treasury was a small building built by Megara, a city-state located 23 miles west of Athens, to help its citizens store valuable votive offerings.
