A view of Athens showing Mount Lycabettus
The image shows a beautiful view of the city of Athens from a vantage point on the Acropolis. At the center is a hill known as Mount Lycabettus.

With a height of over 900 ft, Mount Lycabettus provides a spectacular view of Athens and its surroundings and is a major tourist attraction. To go to the top, you can walk up the path or use the funicular (cable car), which costs a little over 8 euros. There is a small church (Church of Agios Georgios [St. George]) and a restaurant at the top.
