The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu
This picture was taken from Bob’s Peak in Queenstown. At the far end is The Remarkables, a rugged mountain range known for skiing and snowboarding and at the near end is Queenstown.
Lake Wakatipu lies in between The Remarkables and Queenstown. The narrow stretch of the lake on the left is the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu.
