Cathedral of Lima
Located on the Plaza Mayor area of Peru‘s capital Lima, the Cathedral of Lima is a Basilica dedicated to St. John the Apostle and Evangelist.
The construction began in 1535 with Francisco Pizarro, the infamous Spanish Conquistador, laying the foundation stone. After undergoing many reconstructions, the building we see today was completed in 1622.
