Entrance to the Torre del Oro
The image shows the entrance to the Torre del Oro, situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir River in Seville, Spain.
Embedded in the wall at the entrance is a plaque commemorating the first visit to the Torre del Oro by the Spanish King Alfonso XIII on the 10th of April 1923. Also seen in the image is the spiral staircase that leads to the top of the Almohad section of the tower.
