Curetes Street at Ephesus, Turkey
Curetes Street
Lined with rows of shops, inns, religious and civic buildings, this 2010 meter long street was Ephesus‘ main boulevard and was used by horses, chariots, and carts.
A sewer channel ran under the street. The sidewalks on both sides were paved with mosaics.
