Multnomah Falls – Upper Cascade
Located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, about 30 miles east of Portland, Oregon, Multnomah Falls is one of the most visited sites in the Pacific Northwest. This majestic waterfall is an all-season attraction, fed by a combination of rainwater, underground springs, and melting snow from Larch Mountain.

The image captures the upper cascading stream of a breathtaking two-tiered waterfall, spanning a total height of 620 feet. The slender upper falls rapidly flows down from 542 feet, while the lower falls gently drops 69 feet, creating a display of stunning beauty.

Visitors can reach the top of the waterfall via the Larch Mountain Trail, which begins at the lower viewing platform near the Visitor Center.
