Tufted gray langur
The monkey in the image belongs to the Sri Lankan subspecies (semnopithecus priam thersites) of tufted gray langurs. They are found in India and Sri Lanka.
Tufted gray langurs are one of the 3 species of monkeys found in Sri Lanka. Their numbers are dwindling and they are Near Threatened species. The other two species are purple-faced leaf monkey and macaque.
