The ceramic pot shown in the image is on display at Museo Larco in Lima, Peru. It depicts the Owl God belonging to the Moche culture, which flourished in northern Peru from 100 CE to 700 CE, and was contemporary with the Nazca culture in the south.

The Moche people are known for their artistic expression, especially in their pottery. Moche pottery is one of the most beautiful and artistic potteries in the world. Their pots are multi-colored and expressive and depicted everyday life, rituals, deities, and animals in their pottery.
