Boulder Pond 2
Labeled as “Boulder Pond 2”, this rock-cut pond is one of the five ponds on the rock summit. Unlike the Central Bathing Pool, this rock-cut pond is a lot smaller and used only for collecting and preserving water.
It is conveniently located at the edge of the southeast section, almost the lowest part of the rock summit, making it easier to collect rainwater.
The panoramic view in the background shows the stunningly beautiful landscape of the Sri Lankan countryside.
